A sales coordinator manages a sales team on behalf of their organization. They are usually responsible for hiring staff members and providing them with the team's vision and goals; they work with the team to ensure that sales quotas and additional team goals are consistently met. The sales coordinator may manage a budget for expenses such as travel, marketing and bonuses, as well as develop their team's sales quotas and participate in negotiations with clients. These professionals need to ensure that customers are satisfied and that the products or services they are offered meet customers' needs and budgets.
