Jobs as an aged care support worker are available in a wide variety of health care institutions; they are most common in long-term care facilities and senior living accommodations. This position generally has no specific educational requirements, and many openings are often available to entry-level candidates. Aged Care Support Worker Tasks

  • Change bed linens, wash and iron patients' laundry, and clean patients' quarters.
  • Entertain, converse with, or read aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert.
  • Check patients' pulse, temperature and respiration.
