Cleaner Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Cleaner?

Cleaner in Sydney:
"Influencing."
Pros: Knowing how to properly clean appliances such as toilets, kitchens & barbecues & how to properly remove mould & stains from furniture, carpet & walls.
Cons: Having other people relying on cleaners to clean up after them instead of us just coming in & cleaning things such as bathrooms & remaking beds. We're expected to take out rubbish, out furniture back to where it was & pick up clothes off the floor.

Cleaner in Redcliff:
"For the need of money."
Pros: I do like that I work on my own, I can listen to music, which helps the time go faster. I work at night, so the music is a comfort as well. It does pay ok, so it helps pay of my home loan, which I thought would never happen again, after my 30 year marriage ended, and our home had to sold.
Cons: I can finish very late some times and I work every week night and Friday nights, I would like to go out dancing with friends, if I really want to, and my friends are free I could, but then I have to do the 4 and a half hour clean on Saturday morning, and my back aches sometimes, as I do have a back problem.

Cleaner in morphettvale:
"Mastercare Cleaner."
Pros: I can work independently and I like the boss .
Cons: I sometimes find that I have a sore back after my shift.

Cleaner in Central Coast:
"Crystal waters- no super."
Pros: That it is physical and there are plenty of hours available.
Cons: The pay, no super Annuation, no sick days, no holidays, have to pay my own tax.

Cleaner in Perth:
"Spotless."
Pros: Meeting new people.
Cons: The mess some people leave.
