This person can work a variety of different hours, dependent on their exact responsibilities; as an ambassador is a representative, he/she does not typically work within an office, and is often required to represent a company in a variety of settings. Thus, travel is a necessity for this position.
An ambassador is generally a liaison between his/her company and the public, acting as a positive representative of their organization. An ambassador may also be responsible for assisting in recruitment for the company, event hosting/management and public speaking. This person should have highly-developed communication skills, including public speaking, interpersonal, conversational, telephone, and electronic communication.
