Job Description for Glazier

Glaziers are responsible for glass installation, cutting, assembling, and fitting metal-framed glass enclosures. They are also in charge of driving vehicles to installation sites, unloading material, fabricating and installing framework, and loading and arranging glass onto vehicles. These professionals clear work space of furniture and cover floors, as well as operate cranes and hoists. Other tasks performed by glaziers include setting glass into frames, attaching mountain strips, recording measurements, following blueprints, and grinding and polishing glass. Additionally, they set molds, create patterns on glass, and consult with clients.
