Information Technology (IT) Director in Regina:
Pros: Ownership of my team

"IT Director."
Pros: Employee and management
Cons: Travel Distance

Information Technology (IT) Director in Vancouver:
"The more I travel, the more I love my home."
Pros: It's so easy to take for granted how beautiful this place is when you live and work here. Most of the time I work from home, minutes from the mountain and a short walk to a dozen deep-woods trails. When I do go to work, I take a boat across an ocean inlet to a spectacular, cosmopolitan, and welcoming city. I travel to every continent for work and the more of the world I see, the more I love coming home.
Cons: I would like it more if fewer people shared my opinion of how lovely it is and our real estate prices went down a lot.

Information Technology (IT) Director in Alberta:
"I love this job."
It's hard it makes a lot of money tho.

Information Technology (IT) Director in Montréal:
"Don't Stop At Being A Technician in IT."
Pros: Every day is different than the last one. After so many years managing IT, you end up being able to call the shots on many things, because you've been around for a while.
Cons: When there's a lot of pressure on the company's departments, most of them end up blaming the IT department because of software issues.

Information Technology (IT) Director in Vaudreuil-Dorion:
"The Best and Worst :) "
Pros: Keeps you always in search of bettering the Network environment. And can be very challenging at times.
Cons: Every morning one wakes up being obsolete as technology changes very rapidly, so staying current full time is impossible. People expect IT to work at the speed of internet :) lol
