Personal lines managers (insurance) are responsible for reviewing and processing insurance applications to ensure their accuracy. They verify that all regulations and policies are adhered to and that applications are processed in a timely manner. These managers must be capable of answering a wide variety of questions related to company policies and handle client issues or changes. Personal lines managers should be current on state and federal laws that regulate insurance, as well as have certification and licensing within their state of employment.
