Electronics design engineers help design and develop electronic components that can be used in a wide range of applications. They develop and design components and circuits, work with customers to get an understanding of their needs, and work with suppliers and vendors to make sure that jobs are feasible and can be completed within the timeline of their employer and/or client. Electronic engineers work in a wide variety of industries, including commercial, industrial, and military organizations. These professionals work in a variety of settings and during a variety of shifts; they typically work full time in an office setting, although some travel may be required to visit potential customers to discuss their needs.
