Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) Reviews

Q: What is it like working at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC)?

Senior Software Engineer:
CEO Mike Lawrie has destroyed the company. Stay away from CSC/DXC. It is the worst employer. Dishonest, cheat, and unethical CEO and other people in top management. They have been cheating employees and stopped upgrading their products. All money saved goes in the pockets of CEO and very few top management people. CEO Mike Lawrie is the worst person that one can think of.

Senior Project Manager, IT in New York:
Pros:
Cons: No salary raise in 4 years; salary not competitive for NYC.

Application Developer in Blue Ash:
"Excellent experience."
Pros: Developed great tech and leadership skills in Csc.
Cons: Less individual development.

Senior Programmer Analyst in Herndon:
"Good For True Professionals."
Pros: Depending on the project/customer you are on, it is mostly no-nonsense type of work. No politics. Work with really smart, intelligent team members. I've worked for Accenture in the past, and its like high school. Cliques, politics, idiotic kids out of college who have no business in IT, etc... CSC is the big leagues.
Cons: Vacation time could be better. Lots of reorganizing going on in the company.

Senior Systems Engineer in Johannesburg:
"Office conditions, work flexibility."
Pros: Work environment.
Cons: Salary.

Network Engineer in Detroit:
"Better Than Usual For Government Work."
Pros: There was regular communication with supervisor (I worked at a remote site). I always had what I needed to get my job done. Generally, it was a friendly atmosphere.
Cons: I would have liked to have spent more time at the Egg Harbor office but I signed up for the remote assignment - not bad at all.

Desktop Support Technician in Hartford:
"CSC: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly."
Pros: CSC has been good for upward momentum and the availability of the jobs that are open.
Cons: The company is slow to transition people to other positions and seem to lowball the over all pay an employee should receive.
