Direct Care Worker (DCW) in Philadelphia:
Pros: Makes you feel like your doing your part as good human being
Cons: My Pay
Stressful.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Johnson City:
Pros: Direct deposit
Cons: No paid time off, no vacation days, no raises, they cater to certain nurses, no rotation of weekends, not getting to work 40 hours, other nurses are always late but never held accountable for it
Cases are fine, but company doesn't pay the nurse's true wor.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN):
Pros: Flexibility.
Cons: Poor payrates. Stress.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN):
Pros: Supposed to have flexible hours/schedule.
Cons: No benefits, no sick time or vacation.
I care for Veterans when they can no longer care for themsel.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Pros: I can help the main caregiver feel like she has someone.
Cons: I feel like Incould be paid a little more for all that I do.
Home Care.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN):
Pros: People in the Office and my Patient. Some flexibility in my schedule.
Cons: Poor Pay and Benefits. Daily frustration with one of the Caregivers of my patient.
Friendly recruiters, gracious customers, work flexibility.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Pros: Plenty of work for everyone - never a dull moment!
Cons: Last minute assignments sometimes require me to rearrange my own plans - my family misses me because I'm not achieving work/life balance and am told by my clients that I'm underpaid for my skills.
