Q: What is it like working at McDonald's Corporation?
Floor Supervisor in Livermore:
The benefits in my store is that you get flexible schedule, 25% off food when off, $10 allowance when working.
General Manager, Restaurant in Russellville:
Pros: I enjoy helping customers have a great experience and helping my employees have a great work experience.
Cons: I am on call 24/7, even during my vacation time. I don't get days off. 95% of my time at home is spent with my phone in my hand. I have 3 kids that I rarely get to spend time with.
Cook, Fast Food in Maryville:
Cons: Not enough people and they expect to much.
Kitchen Manager, Restaurant in Madison:
Pros: I like working for McDonald's cause of the fast-paced atmosphere and how everyone is like one big family. The pay is very nice for a kid my age who is also going to college full-time. Flexible scheduling, extremely nice front-office management and stock-options are my favorites.
Cons: The stress level for a job with this sort of pay just plain old sucks. Some nights I question why I even took my job. Customers can be very rude and being cussed at for other peoples mistakes isn't fun at all.
Restaurant Manager in Valdosta:
"It was good except General did not take responsible."
Pros: Working enviroment.
Cons: The fact that people do not like to come to work when schedule but always want extra hours.
Fast Food Worker in Nashua:
"Can be enjoyable with the right workers."
Pros: There can be satisfaction in every order made right.
The occasional polite customer can give the job at least some meaning.
Cons: Uncooperative coworkers can at times make working difficult.
Managers who are either immature or tend to micromanage can make it tempting to walk off store property during a shift.
Fast Food Worker in Carrollton:
Pros: The people I work with and the pace.
Cons: The treatment we receive from our general manager.
Director of Operations in Coon Rapids:
"Day to day operations responsible."
Pros: Challenging to meet all levels of QSC, profit plan, and build all levels of people to achieve.
Cons: Long hours, high level of stress on type of business. Threats of minimum wage, unions, health insurance....all stretch gross profit margins.
Assistant Manager, Fast Food in Sumter:
Pros: Customer service.
Cons: Seniority is not a factor.
General Manager, Restaurant in San Jose:
"A good place to start a carreer."
Pros: Time flys by and interacting with my customers and employees...
Cons: Benefits and sometimes supervisors are not fair....
