Zaxby's Reviews

What is it like working at Zaxby's?

Cook, Fast Food in West Palm Beach:
Pros: Two of my managers and my co workers
Cons: You don’t get a lot hours, it can be stressful at times, and you learn real world experiences that maybe you didn’t want to learn (that’s good and bad)
It’s ok but I just hear about raise and opportunities and want them because I need the money.
Head Chef/Cook in Batesville:
Pros: I’m comfortable in a kitchen lots of experience
Cons: Extremely busy
Zaxby's worker experience.
Pros: I like the people I work with, and I like that it's fairly laid back. It isn't too stressful as the actual job itself.
Cons: I feel like I should get paid a little above minimum wage due to the fact that when I work register, I do the hardest job of the front. I am in charge of cleaning tables and seats, changing the trash, sweep the rugs, and the floor, clean the bathrooms, and mop. Plus I work and go to school so that adds stress. I also wish we had more perks, like free lunch on the days we work and maybe a paid vacation every now and then.
Great atmosphere, great people, great first job.
Cook, Fast Food:
Pros: Knowing that hard work will be rewarded.
Cons: Employees can sometimes have their own agendas, and managers can be lax to do anything about it. Ex: Someone calls out of work, managers may make no effort to find so one to fill in and leaving us short handed.
Its a constant shitshow because only half of our equiptment works & they wont replace it.
Cook, Fast Food in Knoxville:
Pros: my teammates - even though we Know what its going to 'be like' the same people keep coming back
Cons: they dont put their $$ back into the business to maintain what they have
