Pros: Greet people from many walks of life - most people that come in are very friendly and great with small talk - This is a small village where most people know each other. There are many events throughout the year.
There is a very interesting library, civic groups. There are many restaurants and eateries of all kinds of cuisine. There is a movie theater, many grocery and convenience stores all within walking distance.
People go out of their way to be helpful in crises or small situations (ie: a gentleman, riding by, came to my rescue when I slipped on the ice and could not get up - Many, many people brought supplies and/or monetary donations during 911. Many give blood or help fire victims.
Cons: I'm getting older and would like to retire - but I have no option to do that.
