Administrative Assistant:
Pros: Although I find my job stressful at times I have a great support system thanks to the management team. They are flexible with me in case I need time off and offer me assistance if I ever request some help. This job is a win win, everyone works hard and is generally very happy to be here. It's a very relaxed and productive work environment that I enjoy walking into everyday.
Cons: General stresses of being understaffed can be overwhelming, or having other team members take advantage of your kindness and drop their workloads on you.

How flexible are you?
Administrative Assistant:
Two of the most important qualities necessary in this job, is the ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task. Some days may be very routine while others are going to be packed with challenges and changes. Don't get to comfortable in a routine as it is bound to change. If you're flexible and able to go with the flow, your job will be much more successful. Stay out of the gossip and things that can hurt you. Always pay attention to the details and work hard. Don't be afraid of sharing your opinion. But make sure to do it at the right time.
