Assistant managers of property management assist the head or senior property manager with tasks such as facilities inspections, scheduling repairs, and assisting with the bidding process on any contracted services or capital improvements. For real estate properties and rentals, the assistant manager also assists in the timely collection of rents and ensures that accounts are paid according to agreed-upon terms. Additionally, in the case of minor upkeep or repair, the assistant property manager may be expected to complete repairs themselves.
