Job Description for Behavior Analyst
Behavior analysts teach support professionals, teachers, and parents how to implement behavior support plans, skills, and procedures. They instruct others on how to collect data and create a therapeutic environment. They write reports and curricula, as well as implement plans to better teach support programs. Additionally, the behavior analyst must stay aware of new training and teaching techniques, as well as how clients can implement those techniques. The behavior analyst generally works during regular business hours. However, there may be times when the analyst needs to work overtime or be on call in case of emergencies.
