Don't expect a lot of time off, especially if your the only tech employed by your company, like me. Long hrs. And minimum pay that's what you have to look forward to. It does have good times to though, especially after you fix someone's heat, and you get a 20 dollar tip. Best of luck to you I was just out this morning putting a heat exchanger in a carrier rooftop unit and froze in the lovely 0 wind chill.

Pros: The job entails something new everyday. It's not like my past job where I'm doing the same thing day in and day out.
Cons: I don't believe I'm getting enough Experience. I would prefer 40 hours a week.

Pros: Co workers are really easy to get along with and senior techs ready to answer questions. Hours are long but flexible. Allowed to use work van essentially as personal vehicle. Diverse work experience.
Cons: Pay too for health insurance. Weekly contribute almost 13% of gross income to health care for a plan with a $1000 deductible. Wife will be added on policy in 2017 and premium will go up to almost 20% Management coerces overtime from lowest paid employees and refuses overtime to higher paid employees. Management tries to blame their mistakes on employees. Little or no service training.

Cons: Manager does not give feedback and needs to give raises.
