"Love My Work, Not The Rewards."
Pros: Trouble shooting electronic, mechanical and computer systems. I have always loved tinkering, and inventing/adapting electronic solutions to problems. A nice self paced environment, where I have time to do my own projects. And good pay.
Cons: The big company politics. There are so many levels of management that any change, issue, new hire, etc... Takes an act of congress and a long time to complete. Also being expected to do the work of 2 techs with no incentive pay or otherwise due to a dwindling business. The resistance to change has to be the biggest drawback. It's important to note my review is company specific not maintenance in general!
"Don't work here."
Get ready to work a lot of hours.
"Fast Paced Specialty Equipment Repair And Diagnosis."
Pros: The constant changing of product lines and traveling for training provided by distributors. Requires quick and accurate diagnosis of equipment systems operational failures.
Cons: Undefined pay scale and an unclear specification of duties.
"I wish I knew about the company security."
