Marketing representatives are responsible for promoting products and services offered by their organization. To do this, the marketing representative must consult with relevant staff to develop a sales plan, identifying the geographic location of the sales campaign and targeting prospective customers. They are also responsible for keeping sales records and gathering other consumer feedback so plans' performance can be reviewed and adjustments can be made as needed. Another thing that marketing representatives handle is providing customer feedback to the company's management team, presenting consumer information in an easy-to-understand format. Marketing representatives must ensure that their company and its products and services are portrayed in a positive light. Additionally, they help find potential clients and develop positive relationships with those individuals, including through responding to questions, criticisms, and demands.
