Marketing Representative Reviews

Q: What is it like working in Alpharetta, Georgia?

Marketing Representative in Alpharetta, Georgia:
"Common thoughts."
Pros: upscale
Cons: people have nicer material things than me right now

Marketing Representative in New York:
"Great environment with limited opportunity."
Pros: Great environment, people, flexible schedule when needed. I have the ability to be creative in how I plan and coordinate events and trainings. For institutions that I work with. It works well with my religion as the hours are flexible and I can have time on Fridays to prepare for the Sabbath. I get to learn from many different people from around the globe about photography and lighting etc, experimenting with equipment- a lot of hands on time. My direct manager is great.
Cons: No room for growth, mostly lateral. I get pulled to hand out flyers at trade shows which is below my skill set because they are short handed on staff. I am also limited in how I can engage with administrations that I do because of certain rules. The travel schedule for the trade shows can be rough 9 hour days standing on my feet with only a 20 minute break while being monitored and criticized if not smiling at any given point. Upper management has little to no involvement with employees beneath unless there is a concern or a need- they do not engage at all.

Marketing Representative in Corona:
"Marketing Representative."
Pros: Interacting with people, being busy, having my work valued, being able to provide usable input, growth potential.
Cons: It is busy and sometimes unpredictable. Evening events can pose a challenge with family.

Marketing Representative in Chicago:
"Nothing."
