Marketing representatives are responsible for promoting products and services offered by their organization. To do this, the marketing representative must consult with relevant staff to develop a sales plan, identifying the geographic location of the sales campaign and targeting prospective customers. Marketing representatives must ensure that their company and its products and services are portrayed in a positive light.
