Booz, Allen, and Hamilton Reviews

Q: What is it like working in Los Angeles?

Program Analyst in Los Angeles:
"Brief summary."
Pros: The best part about working in Los Angeles is that there is opportunity to grow in a very rich and culturally diverse environment without limiting yourself to one career field.
Cons: I'm one-hundred percent sure the entire city of Los Angeles will agree with me that traffic in LA is an absolute nightmare, just driving 15 minutes on the 210 highway Monday morning towards downtown LA or Pasadena can make anyone go nuts.

Program Analyst in San Diego:
"San Diego is about what you'd expect."
Pros: Lots of food choices and activities. Things to do for just about everyone here. Weather is pretty perfect most of the time. Higher pay range typically here.
Cons: Can be trafficky at times. Cost of living is very high. I'm paying 2160 for a 2 bed 1 bath apartment. It's a nice place but that's ridiculous and it's just growing. If you end up unemployed at some point it's really hard to get by.

Program Analyst in Midwest City:
"Average."
Pros: Close to work.
Cons: Working for the Air Force as a civilian sukcs.

Program Analyst in Fort Worth:
"I Wish I Negotiated."
Always negotiate because you will discover you are being under paid.
