Program Assistant (Unspecified Type) in Evanston:
"Education Pros and Cons."
Overall, their benefits package is amazing, which is why it's not too bad that salaries are lower than average for similar positions elsewhere, but the education benefits kill me!! They're also quite generous, but good luck trying to figure out how to use them if you just want to take a class or two for your own edification. You need to be enrolled as a degree seeking student and actually apply. The school of professional studies was also supposedly created for staff, but if you arent interested in the programs they offer, you're forced to look elsewhere and use the portable tuition benefit. Tuition benefits are up to 12K a year.

Program Assistant (Unspecified Type) in Evanston:

Pros: 5% retirement match after 1st year. Educational benefits if you're interested in the particular programs offered. 3% raise each year unless you don't do well on your annual performance evaluation.
