A healthcare research analyst is the person who is responsible for finding and analyzing critical data relating to the healthcare market. This is a position which will typically work within an office or research setting. It is often full-time in nature, with analysts working daytime, weekday shifts. This position is one that will generally require a bachelor’s degree in an area related to mathematics, healthcare administration, business, finance, or computer science. The position often also requires at least four years of experience within information management. A healthcare research analyst can work independently or as part of a team within a healthcare facility.
