Talk to the current employees and also past employees if you can. All employees at all levels and years with employer. Find out their current position and if they have had other positions within company. Ask if they are truly happy. Try to find employees who once held the position you are considering, ask specific questions of support, time frame, expectations, pay, perks, thoughts.

Pros: I get to come to work and see children all day long. I cut or style there hair and watch the parent and child light up with there experience they receive.
Cons: Childish employees who are lazy and always late or call in sick without owning there responsibility of finding someone to work for them.
