Shipping Supervisor in Pittsburgh:
I have found in all my years of management that approx. 85% of all employee errors regardless of department is usually rooted in a system problem. It is managements job to find those system problems and make the necessary corrections to reduce human error. . When it comes to Shipping the shipping department in particular, is the last chance for a company to check the appearance and quality of their product before the customer sees it. It is the very end of the line. So I find it important for a shipping TEAM, to keep their eyes open catching anything that may not meet the high product standards that the customer expects to receive.
