A treatment coordinator works in a medical institution and helps patients acquire the treatment plans they need. Treatment coordinators work by addressing patients’ needs and helping them choose treatments that will address the issues they want to resolve, all while fitting within their budgets. The treatment coordinator will have meetings with patients to help make schedules and financing plans; once patients have started treatment, the coordinator will continue to monitor progress to make any revisions and ensure that the treatment continues and the patients are satisfied.
