Voice-over talent - also called voice actors - provide voice-overs in a variety of media such as television, movies, commercials, video games, movie trailers and others. For example, voice-over talent may portray one or multiple animated characters in a TV show or provide narration for a commercial or movie trailer. These professionals must be able to read and interpret a script, as well as articulately and effectively portray the emotions and tone required in their role. Previous voice-over acting experience is generally required for this position. There are generally no specific educational requirements for voice-over talent jobs, although formal training in acting may be preferred.
