Web Content Specialist Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Web Content Specialist?

Web Content Specialist:
As a contractor, you do not get the same "perks" as a FTE hired by Lincoln. I was unable to enjoy employee picnics or lunches, I could not join Lincoln-sponsored groups and was let out of company meetings. However, the people I worked with were great! They were welcoming, kind, easy to get along with and worked well as a team. My manager was nice and gave me a lot of autonomy (much more than most would give a contracted employee).

Web Content Specialist in Strongsville:
"Darice Marketing Review."
Pros: Close to home
Cons: Lots of traffic after work

Web Content Specialist in Logan:
"Content Publishing Salary."
Pros: I work remote, but I liked the mountains.
Cons: Living in a small town.

Web Content Specialist in Reston:
Pros: Reston Association keeps all grounds landscaped, roads are always plowed, and there are great happy hour spots.
Cons: Expensive cost of living. Traffic (congested roads during rush hour periods)

Web Content Specialist in Anaheim:
Pros: I love the fun and relaxing work environment. I enjoy my co-workers, and the retail industry. In addition to maintaining the web store for our 3 brands, I love being part of the Buying team and contributing in bringing new products and removing older products from our stores.
Cons: I feel that I am overworked for the amount of work I do and responsibilities I have. The company isn't doing as well as we did last year, which is concerning for the future of the company.

Web Content Specialist in Columbus:
"Inspiring corporate culture, high stress, decent perks."
Pros: My immediate supervisors and team work so well together, inspire each other to be better, and listen to each other.
Cons: Stress level is very high due to the reactive nature of retail. We really don't have enough team members to support all the work that needs to be done. Some are overworked and others under-perform to compensate.

Web Content Specialist in Indianapolis:
"Work then educate."
Don't be afraid to take risks. Always learn new skills.
