Sr. Operations Manager Advice

What do you wish you knew about your job when you first started out?

Sr. Operations Manager in Swansea:
"Just ask"
I was too concerned with not screwing up in my first senior role, to the point that I didn't confirm a lot of my new responsibilities from the get go. It made trying to meet my new expectations impossible. So just ask if you don't know, also it'll help your managers to be more willing to come to you if you are open about having to seek senior advice at times as well.
