A senior strategy analyst uses various analytical techniques to determine market and customer needs for marketing purposes. They help determine if promotional and pricing strategies used by the company are enticing to customers or if they are failing. Then, the senior strategy analyst needs to make suggestions as to how these strategies might be modified or replaced. Another important part of the job is not only finding strategies to increase sales, but also discovering how to increase customer satisfaction. This position may require the analyst to be in charge of monitoring various metrics programs as well.
