  • Move steel beams, girders, or columns to the appropriate locations safely and securely.
  • Read specifications and blueprints to determine work locations and timing.
  • Position and place steel members, and attach them to the correct locations by riveting, welding or bolting.
  • Fabricate, alter or weld metal pieces to the desired shape and size.
