On the other hand, SJU alumni who end up in Newtown Square, Pa. receive the lowest median salary of $53K. New York, N.Y. is also a common pick among SJU grads, along with Washington, DC.

Degree Major

Former Hawks who fare the best in terms of salary hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA), General Business and earn a median salary of $162K per year. A B.A. in International Relations is less advantageous in terms of earnings; alums with this degree are the lowest earners with a median annual pay of $35K.


Former Hawks with Leadership experience garner salaries that are 62 percent more than other grads' salaries. Around a sixth of SJU grads wind up using Project Management at their job, which is one of the most common skills among alumni. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Data Analysis are among other dominant skills.

Benefits and Perks

When it comes to paid time off, there is more lenience involving vacation than illness; just under half of the survey participants get vacation time, whereas just one in four survey participants get paid sick leave. Benefits are rather generous for graduates of this school; most grads are rewarded with health insurance and a fair number of alumni report dental coverage, too. Most graduates report contributing to a 401(k). Other benefits that Saint Joseph's University alumni receive are life insurance, a company-subsidized cell phone, tuition reimbursement, and a casual working environment.
