New York, N.Y. is also a common pick among SJU grads, along with Washington, DC.

Financial compensation is highest for SJU grads with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), General Business (average earnings climb to $162K per year). Ranking last in the compensation department are those holding a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education — their annual income amounts to $33K on average.


Operations Management commands a pay premium of 55 percent for former Hawks. Project Management is a popular skill among SJU alumni, with approximately one-sixth of grads reporting using it on the job. In addition, those who are savvy in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Data Analysis are also considered highly skilled.

As for time away from work, slightly less than half of the graduates are compensated for vacation days, but only one in four survey participants can take paid time off due to illness. Health insurance benefits extend to most respondents, and a fair number of alumni sign up for dental plans. Most survey participants report contributing to a 401(k). Additional perks enjoyed by Saint Joseph's University grads include life insurance, a company-subsidized cell phone, tuition reimbursement, and a casual working environment.
