An automotive painter is responsible for painting vehicle surfaces with spray paint equipment, power tools, and other relevant equipment. They also prepare the vehicle for painting, such as through sanding. Automotive painters are required to efficiently finish paint jobs on all types of vehicles using all paint types. They also need to be able to mix paint colors to get the customer's desired color for each order.
