Educational Assistant Reviews

Q: What is it like working as an Educational Assistant?

Educational Assistant in Selkirk:
"Somewhat Unfulfilled."
Pros: The hours and connecting with the students and some of the staff.
Cons: As a substitute EA, I don't like the uncertainty of the job assignments.

Educational Assistant in Bowmanville:
"Working Hard to See The Smiles."
Pros: I love seeing my students smile when they succeed at a new task, and knowing I helped them achieve it. I enjoy working with children and helping to further their knowledge of the world and the knowledge around us.
Cons: I dislike the stress we endure on days where our student has many upsets and physically/verbally lashes out. I also dislike the lack of respect we experience from other educators.
