HVAC Technician Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a HVAC Technician?

HVAC Technician in Hamilton:
"Independant. Good atmosphere."
Pros: Problem solving. Accomplishing set tasks
Cons: Pay.

HVAC Technician in Owen Sound:
"Great place to work and play."
Pros: high demand of our trade
Cons: winter driving

HVAC Technician in Chilliwack:
"Working as a sheet metal/ hvac technician."
Pros: I like to install furnaces and AC units, and split AC systems and cased rooftop units, and hot water tanks and tankless heaters, as well as gas source heaters of all types. I also enjoy being in charge of commercial sheet metal jobs and being able to train less experienced men in the trade. I like working with my hands.
Cons: The thing I dislike the most about my job would be that I am being paid unfairly for my responsibilities and my duties in training new people when im unqualified to be running such jobs in the first place. The main reason for this is that I dislike being told my schooling will "have to wait" and as thus I havent learned some things fully and am still expected to do them as good as a journeyman.
