Night Auditor Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Night Auditor?

Night Auditor in Canmore:
Pros: No managers breathing over my shoulder, no other employees or colleagues to get in my way. I like being alone and it's cool that I'm able to do that and get paid. Nightimes are much more quiet than during the day, there are less guests around, sometimes you will go your entire shift without seeing a single person, so you have a little bit more freedom. It's a relaxed environment. The work is pretty simple. I also get paid more than a regular front desk agent, but do about 4 hours of work total each shift. The rest of it is killing time and trying to do extra things around the office. I get discounts at other hotels in our company, which is great because I love to travel. I am rewarded for extra effort, and I like all of my colleagues.
Cons: You become a ghost and your colleagues often forget about you. The other thing is sleep, which isn't hard to do during the day but it makes it hard to have a social life or take opportunities to travel.
