A senior sales assistant is responsible for assisting the senior sales manager and/or assistant manager in making sure that all employees are doing the job correctly. Other duties of the senior sales assistant include assisting clients and/or customers, making daily and weekly sales goals, keeping track of all sales for the month, and reporting any problems to their supervisor. These assistants generally work in an office and/or on a sales floor depending on their employer. Requirements for senior sales assistants vary depending on the employer.
