When it comes to location, the highest average paycheck (about $17.00 per hour) can be spotted in San Diego, Calif.; Las Vegas, Nev. ($16.93), Columbus, Ohio ($14.82), and New York, N.Y. (approximately $12.50) are the next top-paying cities. Katy, Texas is one of the lowest-paid cities, with earnings averaging $10.15. Within the firm, employees working in Nevada take home the most — around $16.71 per hour on average.


The highest paychecks go to Merchandising Managers, who earn an average $16.51 per hour, closely trailed by Sales Specialists (around $11.51), Sales Support Specialists (approximately $11.00), and Retail Sales Associates (about $10.28). Cashiers are among the lowest paid at a median salary of $9.84.

Years of Experience

Survey participants who have worked at Victoria's Secret for between five and 10 years earn $12.74 per hour on average. Overall, the greater share of Victoria's Secret folks have one to four years of experience and earn an average approximately $11.11 per hour.

Certifications and Degrees

Monetary compensation comes to about $14.88 per hour for Business Certificate Holders, far surpassing the earnings of non-credentialed workers. Victoria's Secret compensates Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)-holders the most at $25.50 per hour.


When it comes to skills, Merchandising seems to bolster pay the most; employees who claim proficiency also enjoy a median income of $13.51 per hour. Some other standard skills here are Cash Handling, Retail, and Sales.
