Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician in Cabot:
Pros: i like how i feel like i can make a difference in a persons day to day life. it gives me joy to see how happy someone is when i am able help them out with medication needs
Cons: i don't feel like the corporate level truly listens to the store level . Sometimes all we ask for is working equipment and we are told we dont do enough scripts to warrant this
Assistant Store Manager in Mesquite:
A very physical job for decent pay ($15.65), but very physically and mentally draining. Management is pretty nice, the job is fairly independent, with little contact with coworkers besides the 2 breaks within the 10-12 hour days.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT):
It honestly depends on the kind of management from the store you work at. I came from an amazing work environment in Flagstaff AZ under the amazing management. They always encouraged and believed in their employees achieving more. After I transferred to the Las Vegas store, the work environment was more focused on numbers and prescription sales than it was in the employees and customers. My advice is to do your research and ask the technicians what the environment may be like so it fits your needs.
