An assistant head of school works under the head of school and leads teachers and administrators in creating an environment conducive to learning. Teachers may hired by the assistant head of school, and this administrator evaluates teachers and provides them with feedback on performance throughout the school year. When necessary, the assistant head of school may modify rules and policies with the approval of the head of school, school board members and other relevant officials.
