Business Development Manager:
Prospecting potential customers, coordinating/scheduling appointments and presentations, maintaining, building relationships with existing clients, collections. I would suggest a degree in marketing or communication. I strongly recommend courses in entrepreneurship. Stress is extremely high. You have to be prepared to go through a lot of NOS to get to just 1 YES! You just have to know how to talk to people. Sure you have to be knowledgeable and well versed on what your selling but most of all you just have to know how to talk and LISTEN to people. COMMUNICATIONS DEGREE!! Excelling in sales is easy. Desire. Faith. Plan. Strategy. Implement plan / strategy. NEVER GIVE UP.
