Job Description for Copier Technician

Even with an increasing amount of business performed digitally, hard-copy documents are still commonly used at many offices worldwide. With the need for such documents comes the need for printers and copiers; copier technicians are the specialized service providers who keep these machines running in good order. Most copier technicians work for either dedicated technology repair service companies or for large manufacturers of workplace copy machines. They make field visits to offices and diagnose and repair damaged or faulty equipment. The technician needs to have a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of each type of office machine they are certified to work on.
