Job Description for Executive Pastor

Executive pastors must be responsible and able to lead others, as they are tasked with leading a religious staff as well as the direction of a church and accomplishing the mission of the church's statement. These activities can range from group activities and pastoral care to arts and crafts and working with children and youth. Executive pastors must also be able to lead a ministry staff, facilitate strategic planning, lead church mission efforts, and perform other duties that are necessary for the religious organization's success.
