Job Description for Foundry Worker

Foundry workers are often employed in confined factory or shop environments to melt metals and create castings from molds. They also finish the metal products, often by manually sanding, to create the desired results. Metal products may be created on a mass scale or simply to fulfill specific one-time needs for clients. Some molds may be created with AutoCAD software, so prior experience with this software may be necessary.
