Healthcare consultants can work a variety of schedules, although this is often a part-time or contract job. However, large healthcare organizations sometimes hire full-time consultants based on their needs.
Generally, healthcare consultants are required to have at minimum a bachelor's degree. However, a company may require a master's degree, a major in marketing or business, a minor in healthcare, a certified management consultant mark, healthcare reform and policy knowledge, and prior experience.
