July 2020
Information Technology Specialist:
The pay was ok, but the work was repetitive after a while. In addition, advice on changing out equipment and gear to management is ignored due to financial reasons. In addition, the recent acquisition has changed the culture.

"A Niche Skill Is Valued Only When In Need."
Information Technology Specialist:
I am working on systems that is common with retailers in developed countries. But very few resources exist in India who had worked in this environments. We number probably less than 200. Make sure that you strike while the iron is hot.

"I Wish I Knew That I Would Not Be Receiving Salary."
Information Technology Specialist:
Question the position and how long it has been in existence. If it is a new position that is a great sign. If it is not a new position, ask about how long the previous individuals had kept that position. If not for very long, this is a red flag about those over-seeing this position.

"Always Listen To Instruction And Record Information."
Information Technology Specialist:
Always listen to what information you are given and keep a record for yourself as reference in e-form or document hard copy.
August 2014
Information Technology Specialist:
Pros: All the learning opportunities you ever wanted, trainings courses certifications projects etc.
Cons: Almost all benefits are cut, except for health insurance, no meal vouchers, no bonuses ( this was cut IBM worldwide in 2014), for 3700 employees there is 1 ( one ) relaxation room with room for 3 ! Employees ... Since it was created I have yet to actually benefit from it. There is a chronic and general lack of motivation, and no matter how much you spin your wheels it will take you nowhere, until you your self will lose your motivation. That's why they always put in all job postings that they are searching for self motivated people, because the company will do next to nothing to motivate you.
