Using these tools, the specialist then designs a marketing plan that involves media to be used to present the product, as well as approaches and sales initiatives to keep individuals working to sell it on the message. The marketing specialist also studies sales and consumer response data as it becomes available and adjusts existing plans and/or designs new approaches. They may work with branding teams to adjust messaging as needed, and they use market research data to assess the best outlets in which to reach the product's target consumers
