Job Description for Health/Wellness Coordinator

Health/wellness coordinators are responsible for promoting the overall health and wellness of employees within an organization. Those in this position organize and promote all health and wellness activities, outings, and programs and encourage employees to participate in health assessment screenings and goal-driven programs such as weight loss and smoking cessation. As such, they should be skilled in the development, implementation, and promotion of these programs. This position also uses pre-existing programs such as educational campaigns and underutilized tools such as intra-organization newsletters and bulletin boards to maintain, market, and promote health and wellness programs.
