Logistics planning managers are in charge of effectively planning and managing all logistics activities for their company. They are responsible for developing, documenting, and improving logistics initiatives, as well as managing a group of logistics planning professionals to reach all company goals in a timely manner. They work with other managers to discuss important logistics planning ideas and ensure all processes are effective and efficient. Logistics planning managers use a personal computer as one of their main tools to keep accurate records of logistics strategies and planning initiatives, as well as create proposals and detailed logistics reports.
