Market research associates are in charge of information-gathering tasks and research responsibilities for their organization. They collect information using different technology and methods; one of their main duties includes conducting informational surveys online and in-person to gather needed data related to products, services, and other facts of the organization. They may also assist in conducting focus groups and in other methods of consumer research. In addition, associates handle physical and digital files to be analyzed once research has been completed; excellent organizational skills are needed for this position.
